Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Reverting to two-handed riding when the steering gets challenging.
- The horse not responding to neck rein because it was only trained with direct rein.
- Not practicing neck reining in the arena before taking it to the trail.
- Pulling too aggressively with the neck rein, causing the horse to over-turn.
